Matt Jackson is a soldier in the Air National Guard.  Married and a father of three children, Matt has served our country for 16 years, including three deployments to Iraq, and additional deployments to Afghanistan, South Korea, and Guam.  Patios For Patriots received multiple nominations for Matt speaking highly of his courage, conviction, and integrity.  His most recent deployment to Iraq speaks volumes regarding the type of person that he is:  a fellow soldier became a new father with the birth of a daughter in the weeks leading up to the deployment.  The daughter was born with a significant birth defect and, to allow the soldier and his family to have time together during a difficult life change, Jackson selflessly volunteered to take the place of the soldier.  Thank you Mr. Jackson for your service to our country.
